Youth Hostel
Nuremberg

Portrait

Sleeping, learning, vacationing where knights lived hundreds of years ago? High up in the middle of Nuremberg is the city's landmark - the castle with its imperial stables. This is where our oldest, but also one of the most modern youth hostels in Germany is located. With a little imagination, you can still hear emperors, kings and damsels in the 92 rooms. In this unique historical atmosphere, explorers' hearts beat faster.

Living history
We are in the most beautiful youth hostel in the world. History comes alive here. From our youth hostel, you can reach the center of Nuremberg in just 5 minutes on foot. Here you can visit the world-famous Christmas market in winter. How about a historical stroll through the city?

Back at the youth hostel, a cool lounge or the bistro invite you to relax.

Space for new ideas
A relaxed atmosphere, the historical ambience paired with state-of-the-art conference technology in nine conference and seminar rooms: this makes conferences something very special.
We offer an exciting program for school classes and youth groups. Our innovative educational project turns the old walls of the castle into a unique place of learning. The different eras can be experienced here. In short films, young people learn more about the different phases of Nuremberg's history.
As our house has been converted and extended for disabled guests, everyone can enjoy the castle feeling.

Are you curious now? Then we look forward to your visit.
