Between the Eifel National Park, the Ardennes and the High Fens that's where you'll find Hellenthal. The place is known for its game reserve with fast-paced birds of prey shows and the TV Star "Santiago, the condor, who doesn't want to fly". Trips to Oleftalsperre reservoir, ranger tours in the Eifel National Park and hiking in the High Fens are Popular with families. And when it's snowed, the snow report for the ski resort Weisser Stein will say "skiing & tobogganing good".

Something special for families

Bed & Bike: certified by the ADFC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Fahrrad-Club - General German Bicycle Club) as being bike-friendly accommodation.
Rental of electric bicycles at the community bike rental.
Family-friendly bike routes with few inclines will take visitors through valleys and along streams and reservoirs.
Hellenthal game reserve includes predator pens with lynxes, raccoons, foxes, martens and bears. The main attraction is the show with bald eagles, vultures, buzzards and falcons.
Pre-order a cot, high chair, audio baby monitor, bottle warmer etc.
With 10 people or more, we offer the weekend programmes "Teamtraining im Hochseilgarten" on the covered high ropes course, or "Seifenkistenbau" and many more.
