NORTH SEA AND WADDEN SEA If you love the North Sea and the changing tides of the Wadden Sea, then come to Tönning! The sandy beach of St. Peter-Ording is within easy reach.

IDEAL FOR FAMILIES As a youth hostel with the profile "especially suitable for families", we offer excellent facilities for families with small children.

DOGS WELCOME For €5 per night, your furry friends can stay with you at the youth hostel Tönning. Please note our dog house rules.

YOUR HOSTS Fabienne and Thomas Kamphausen and their team love the North Sea and the Wadden Sea. The Youth Hostel Tönning plays a very special role in this, as it is the only environmental study center on the North Sea coast.

BIO We cook with many regional products and, where possible, in organic quality.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATOR Ulrike Lamp and her team of young volunteers provide holistic and dedicated support for all Wadden Sea programs for your group. Such support is only available in Tönning. We will take you on a mudflat hike, examine mud samples under the binocular microscope and experience the unique natural space with all our senses.

WATER LABORATORY Our Youth Hostel Tönning has a well-equipped water laboratory and a North Sea aquarium. You can already start marveling there.

YOUR YOUTH HOSTEL is your top location if you want to discover the North Sea with all your senses. The sandy beach of St. Peter-Ording is about 21 km away.
