AT THE BALTIC SEA BEACH Step out of your room and find yourself standing right on the beach: that's only possible at the Youth Hostel Scharbeutz. It is located on the long sandy beach of Scharbeutz. Only the beach promenade separates you from the sea. Simply magical! The sandy bottom of the shallow Baltic Sea is adorned with white ripples.

CAMPING FOR YOUTH GROUPS You can camp in modern large tents (8-10 persons and leader's tents) from April to October. They have wooden floors, beds, electricity and a modern sanitary building. SPORTS HALL A 700 sqm sports hall can be rented by you (with judo mats, markings for handball and soccer).

YOUR HOSTS are the versatile team led by the hostel parents Antje Bard and Walter Weber: whether you need ice cream, toothpaste or an hour in the sports hall. They are there for you and make sure that you feel good all around in Scharbeutz.

YOUR PROGRAM Beach and sea, exercise in the sports hall, Baltic Sea thermal bath, Sealife Center, Baltic Sea bike tours, cliff hikes, water skiing, forest high ropes course.

YOUR YOUTH HOSTEL is located directly on the beach and sea. All rooms are equipped with shower and toilet. The Hansapark amusement park is only a few kilometers away from your beach youth hostel.

Sailing ship Passat Travemünde

The Passat is a four-masted sailing ship that was built in 1911 and is now preserved as a museum ship in Travemünde.
