The Lower Trias Rocks around Nideggen are part of the most beautiful climbing areas in the Eifel and are fascinating by its imposingly reddish rocks with unique formations and bizarre shelters. Everyone, who always wanted once to learn climbing or to polish up and improve already existing knowledege, will find here optimal conditions. Corresponding to that, we are cordially inviting families, separate travelling parents with children or kids&teens to “hang around“ in our modern equipped house in Nideggen and not just to leave all cares behind: at least the youth hostel is located just a few minutes`walk away from the entire 14 massifs and rock-towers with more than 150 climbing routes. Here- also under professional guidance- exactly the right challenges are waiting for ambitious summiteers of all age groups.

Additionally, the surrounding with its idyllic and numerous woodlands is a real Eldorado for lovers of nature and sportsman of all shades. Due to its perfect site, our house is the right starting point for cycle- and hiking tours along numerous picturesque routes. And also canoeists, sailors, surfers and swimming freaks will get their moneys`worth at the river Rur and the nearby located lakes.
