Above the historic city the medieval “Burg Monschau“ is located, which offers the scenery for a unique rehearsal experience. In the rustic-style castle ambience it`s possible to make music undisturbed and concentrated. The castle chapel, located just a few metres away, is the highlight for choirs and music groups. It`s suitable as a concert-, festivity and rehearsal room for up to 80 persons. Beside the sacral atmosphere, the 14th century and entirely restored chapel is fascinating by distinguished acoustics- an ideal place for choral singings, church music and classic concert rehearsals.
An excursion into the nature ensures variety. The youth hostel is surrounded by the nature parks “Eifel“ and “Hohes Venn“. On walks or trekking tours through the beautiful landscape one can catch some fresh air and recharge the batteries.
Please respond the team of the youth hostel already before your stay, so that you can fix the entirely procedure with rehearsal periods, leisure time activities as well as the catering geared to your rehearsal rhythm, to experience a relaxed stay.

Our kitchen team has responded to this challenge with a varied range of meals: all the food that's served is healthy, light and always tasty. You should discuss with us any special dietary requirements when planning your stay so that your wishes can be incorporated into your rehearsal schedule. We are flexible. That's why our kitchen team will also try to comply with any vegetarian or religious dietary requirements as far as possible.
