Check-in for groups is also possible from 3:00 pm by arrangement.
Acceptance of groups of 20 persons or more also possible during closing times.
Hostel is open all year round except Christmas.

Arriving by public transport
Travel to Basel train station. Take the S6 S-Bahn train line to Lörrach-Stetten train station, then take number 7 bus to the "Jugendherberge" ("Youth Hostel") stop.Rail service for DJH members
The Community Travel GmbH offers DJH members discounted RIT tickets for a return journey within Germany - this applies only in conjunction with stays in a hostel. School classes and groups can make use of this offer. You must carry confirmation of your booking with you when travelling.

Arriving by car/bus
Coming by bus/car: take the A5 (Karlsruhe-Basel) and the A98. Or if you're coming from the east, take the B34 (Hochrheinstraße - High Rhine Route) and then take the B316 as of Rheinfelden.Or drive on the B317 through the Wiesental valley.
There are free parking spaces and enough places for busses in front of the Youth Hostel.
NEW: the Ticket 4 Lörrach!
From 1 August 2019, you can use the new "Ticket 4 Lörrach" from Monday to Friday from 9 am and all day on weekends and public holidays. The ticket costs 4 euros and includes 4 journeys in the entire Lörrach city area including all districts.
