DOWN SOUTH ON SYLT.  Hörnum is surrounded by the sea on three sides. There's nowhere else on the island with as much sandy beach as here, in the sunny south. The sea and beach chairs invite you to take a deep breath and relax. And for all you active folks out there, there are tons of activities to do like surfing, stand-up paddling, sailing, golfing and swimming. Our guests can expect a wide range of courses and activities from a bike weekend to a windsurf weekend for families. We've got something for everyone!

AWESOME LOCATION.  Your youth hostel in Hörnum is located right in the dunes and only 10 minutes away from the popular sandy beach (with lifeguards during the summer months). Start your adventure from here, whether it's heading to the beach, going on a mudflat hike or taking a boat trip along the coast.

YOUR HOSTS  are Inga and Phillipp Heemeyer and their team. They fell in love with Sylt and moved here with their family to share their favorite place on the island with all of you.
