Youth Hostel
Heidelberg International

Portrait

One of the most beautiful cities of Germany cordially welcomes you. Heidelberg, the pearl of the Neckar valley, attracts several million visitors of all ages annually. Walking along one of the longest pedestrian areas in Europe, where you can find a large number of options for a shopping tour, you end up in the romantic historic city centre with lots of winding alleys and squares. High above the Neckar and the romantic marketplace with the impressive church of the "Holy Spirit", the world-famous Heidelberger Castle rises over the city and gives her the unique glamour.

Despite of its 800 years of history, Heidelberg is still a young and cosmopolitan city. One reason for this are certainly the several students in the city. Heidelberg also has one of the oldest Universities in Germany (founded 1386). The Youth Hostel is located directly at the Neckar in the northwest of the city, in the so called Neuenheimer Field. It is surrounded by leisure facilities like the zoo, botanical garden, open air pool and several sport grounds.

Tolerance, meeting people from all over the world, community across frontiers - people in our Youth Hostels live up to these values. The Youth Hostel offers visitors from all over the world much more advantages.
