Arrival

Blaubeuren, on the Upper Swabian Baroque Route, is a nationally recognized resort. The Blaubeurer Alb and the ridge of the elevated road border the valley through which the Aach and Blau rivers flow. Worth seeing are the fabled Blautopf (the source of the Blau river), the old forge and the monastery. The hostel is situated on a hill on the eastern edge of the town.

Arriving by public transport

Blaubeuren is a railway station on the Ulm-Freiburg line. The hostel is about 700 m from the train station.
At the station, cross Bahnhofstraße to Karlstraße and walk down this street for 500 m and then turn right into Ulmer Straße. After about 100 m, turn left into Eduard-von-Lang-Straße. After 100 m, follow the signposted footpath on the right-hand side until you get to the hostel.

Arriving by car/bus
Take the A8 Stuttgart-Munich, Merklingen/Blaubeuren exit. Follow the signs for Blaubeuren until Blaubeuren station. At traffic lights, turn left into Karlstraße. Go straight ahead until you see the outdoorshop on the right-hand side. Turn right again there into Ulmer Straße. Take the next left into Eduard-von-Lang-Straße. Continue straight ahead and turn right at the first opportunity. Follow the road and you will get to the hostel.
