Wunsiedel Youth Hostel is part of the Katharinenberg Citizens' Park. Visit the Katharinenberg bird of prey park with its impressive flight demonstrations and variety of birds. There is also a deer enclosure and an adventure playground.

From the tower of the youth hostel, you can look directly at Europe's largest rock labyrinth. While walking through the rocky gorges, visitors are captivated by the over 300 million year old granite formations. This can easily be combined with a visit to the Luisenburg Festival. From May to August each year, the children's musical is particularly popular with families.

At the AKTIV and FIT youth hostel, we ensure that your stay has sustainable added value. Explore nature as a place of learning, strengthen your pupils or group on an educational day, get to know new technology and digital innovations that you can touch and try out, let pupils learn through play in our creative workshops.

The Fichtelsee lake is just waiting for you to jump into the cool water. Or surf and swim in the Weißenstätter See.

In winter, cross-country skiers and skiers have a run here. Or hop on a sledge and let the wind blow around your nose on a downhill run.
