From the house you have a wonderful view over the landscape. Here you can let your gaze wander over forests and small villages. We are located right on the outskirts of the climatic health resort of Wirsberg below the edge of a forest.

Nature and sport - everything is possible
With a bit of luck, you might spot the endangered dipper.
Enjoy nature, for example, on one of the newly created cycle paths or on the well-marked hiking trails in the valley or above the heights of the climatic health resort. You can hire mountain bikes and some GPS devices directly from us.

Past, present and future
There are historic buildings to discover in and around the climatic health resort. Geological excursions await amateur archaeologists, such as in the Upper Mainland, Fichtelgebirge, Franconian Forest or the geological nature trail in Schorgasttal.

Paddling ducks, water rats & co.
Cool off in the summer pool with the longest water slide in Franconia, in the indoor pool in Kulmbach with lots of extras or in one of the nearby thermal baths.

Back at our youth hostel, a campfire site, a children's playground, sports facilities, an all-weather pitch and a disco await you.

Curtain up for orchestras, theater and dance groups: Here you will find the perfect stage.
We also have everything you need for seminars and workshops.
We want to offer every guest a successful stay. One wing is completely geared towards the needs of wheelchair users. Another is specially designed for families.
