The pilgrimage and recreation town of Walldürn is located in the Neckartal-Odenwald Nature Park. The youth hostel is located directly next to a large forest area, just outside in the north of the town.
Arriving by public transport

Walk from the station to the hostel
- Go out of the cul-de-sac (dead-end street) at the station.
- Turn left at the street, towards the roundabout.
- At the roundabout, take the first right into Adolf-Kolping-Straße.
- When the Sparkasse (savings bank) is in sight, turn left into Untere-Vorstadt-Straße.
- Turn right into "Am Plan" at the next junction.
- Then take the next left into the main road.
- After about 300 m, turn right into Dr.-Konrad-Adenauer-Str. We recommend you cross to the left-hand side.
- Take the first left into Schubertstraße.
- After the dirt road, carry on straight ahead until the street "Auf der Heide", then after 50 m, turn right up the stairs.
- ... you're there!
Arriving by car/bus
From Aschaffenburg, Miltenberg (B47):
Take the Walldürn Nord exit
turn into the first street on the left (Miltenberger Str)
then turn into next street on the left (Dr.-Konrad-Adenauer-Str.)
then turn into the third street on the left (Auf der Heide)
the youth hostel is at the end of the road. From Osterburken, Mosbach, Buchen (B27):
Take the Walldürn Nord exit
then turn left towards Walldurn,
then turn right (Würzburger Str)
then take the first left (Wettersdorfer Str)
then take the third turning on the left (Dr.-Konrad-Adenauer-Str)
then take the first right again (Auf der Heide). Tauberbischofsheim, Wertheim, Hardheim (B27):
take the Walldürn Nord exit
turn right again,
then take the third turning on the left (Dr.-Konrad-Adenauer-Str)
then take the first right again (Auf der Heide).
