The youth hostel is located on a mountain range at the edge of the medieval historic city of Monschau, surrounded by an open meadows- and pastures area.- ideal preconditions to relax in the fresh air after a concentrated working day. The national park Eifel and the park of nature Hohes Venn are enabling numerous activities in front of an enchanting nature scene. Conference groups will find in the entirely modernised and new designed youth hostel an ideal working atmosphere amidst the nature. 5 ground-level conference rooms from 39 to 96 sq m are enabling an undisturbed working in an appealing atmosphere. All of the conference rooms are equipped with daylight and modern media technique. In the evening time the cosy city offers the possibility for a short stroll.

Seminar Service Plus

The youth hostel Monschau-Hargard offers guided walking-, cycle- and viewing tours, which can be integrated in an ideal way into the schedule of seminars and workshops. With the framework programmes groups will experience new impulses, which are encouraging the common experiences, whetting the appetite for locomotion and are supporting the team-building. Cycles can be rented in Monschau.

Food

In Monschau-Hargard you can expect varied meals served as a buffet. Gladly we will consider individual wishes as well as vegetarian or religious caused diet habits. On request: meal times adjusted to the seminar schedule; additional coffee breaks; snacks; conference fruits; barbecue evenings
