Thanks to its location on the Dutch border, the area surrounding Cleves offers a diverse selection of leisure activities at home and abroad. Sports play a particularly important role here: the hostel's own adventure course is popular with school groups. In the class trip programme "From Adventure to Teamwork", students learn a lot about the importance of teamwork, community solidarity.

The flat countryside in the Lower Rhine region is great for cycling enthusiasts who like to take things a little easy. Even the little ones can keep up here. Cross borders with a bike ride along the 2-Country Route from Nijmegen to Aachen.

For all those who take sport a bit more seriously, there are also several gyms that can be used at the weekends. Training camps can, therefore, easily be held in the hostel (contact: Town of Kleve, Office of Education, Mr van Meegeren, Phone 02821-84-359).
