Right in the centre, in the middle of greenery: Hannover Youth Hostel is located in Hannover's Sportpark, between the Ihme and Leine rivers, just a stone's throw from the Maschsee lake. And at the same time, the train station and city centre are just a few minutes away by bus or train.

Whether in Linden, Oststadt or Mitte, you'll stumble across nice shops and cafés everywhere. On Saturdays, it's worth visiting the flea market on Hohe Ufer. Or take a look at the hustle and bustle at the "Leinewelle". Located in the middle of the old town, it is a unique surfing spot between city life, restaurants and ice cream parlours. Take the elevator up to the roof of the New Town Hall and then continue your world tour at Hannover Adventure Zoo. Or take a stroll through Hannover's green lung, the 650-hectare Eilenriede with its many beautiful playgrounds and ancient trees. The Herrenhäuser Gardens, one of the most important baroque gardens in Europe, offer greenery in its finest form.

Our modern youth hostel is ideal for training courses and conferences. We offer individual modules for school classes and all-inclusive programmes - individually designed on request. For our solo travellers and families, we always come up with something new and are happy to advise you on worthwhile activities.

Special places of interest such as the Heinz-von-Heiden Arena or the Swiss Life Hall, the Gildeparkbühne or the Maschsee lake are only a few hundred metres from the youth hostel. Whether it's a guided tour of the stadium, a concert, the Maschsee festival or a football match – your way home is short! The Landesmuseum or the Sprengel Museum are also just a 20-minute walk through the countryside.
