Arriving by public transport
Arriving by trainThe nearest station is Bühl/Baden station on the Karlsruhe-Freiburg railway line. Take a bus from Bühl/Baden station to the Herrenwies-Jugendherberge stop (journey time 45 minutes)
Rail service for DJH members
The Community Travel GmbH offers DJH members discounted RIT tickets for a return journey within Germany - this applies only in conjunction with stays in a hostel. School classes and groups can make use of this offer. You must carry confirmation of your booking with you when travelling.

Arriving by car/bus
You can drive to Herrenwies via the A5 Karlsruhe-Basel, Bühl exit, continue towards Bühlertal, take the Schwarzwaldhochstaße (B500) to Sand or, if you're coming from Rastatt or Freudenstadt, take the B462 through the romantic Murgtal valley and drive past the Schwarzenbachtalsperre reservoir.contact
