The nearest station is Balingen. From there, you can take bus number 17, which stops right at the hostel.

Arriving by bus/car

You can drive to Lochenstein and to the hostel via the A81 Stuttgart-Singen, Balingen exit (exit 31). Follow the B463 and just before Balingen change to the B27. In Balingen, take the Messegelände (trade fair) exit and continue on the B463 towards Albstadt. Shortly after Balingen, take the first exit "Weilstetten-Lochen". You are now just about 5 km from the hostel. It is located on the highest point on the route between Weilstetten and the climatic health resort of Tieringen, below Lochenstein mountain. Be careful when entering the address into your navigation system! The hostel is sometimes marked incorrectly and you might end up in the forest near Balingen-Weilstetten. But the hostel is on the highest point, on the "Lochenstein pass", between Balingen-Weilstetten and Tieringen.
