Bad Hersfeld Youth Hostel is located on the edge of the Kurpark, which borders on the Fulda river meadows and boasts a generous network of foot paths and cycling routes. You can hire pedal boats, and even hire a pony at the neighbouring equestrian centre and take it out for a hack. It is only about 100 metres to the historic city centre of Bad Hersfeld.
