Bad Fallingbostel is located in the southern part of the Lüneburger Heathland, surrounded by a beautiful landscape and in the middle of the city triangle area of Hamburg, Hannover & Bremen. The hostel is located close to the forest at the northern outskirt of the city and is especially suitable for school classes and families since the city center is only a short walk away. The big outland area offers a lot of possibilities for outdoor activities. You can find table tennis, a beach volleyball court, as well as a great playground. We are happy to lend you play equipment and board games. A piano is also available. A skate park awaits you in town and in the Kurpark you can have fun at an adventure playground, on a boules court or experience the barefoot path. 

The Weltvogelpark Walsrode is a highlight of the region and enthralls with over 4000 birds from all climate zones and habitants on earth. On a safari through the Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen you can experience antelopes, lions and other exotic animals. You can also enjoy your time at the felto, an interactive museum that is all about felting. Other destinations such as the Heidepark Soltau, the cities of Celle or Lüneburg, as well as the world famous heath landscapes around Wilsender Mountain can be visited within a daytrip.

More than 155km of signposted hiking trails invite you on a hiking trip through the most beautiful part of the Lüneburger Heide. You can also enjoy the beautiful landscape while riding a canoe or kayak through the valley of the Böhme Heide river.

Forests, heathland and river landscapes without any major inclines are ideal for cycling tours.
