In Worpswede, the landscape shares a unique connection with art: A good 100 years ago, artists including Fritz Mackensen, Otto Modersohn, Paula Becker-Modersohn and Heinrich Vogeler brought fame to this picturesque little place in the Teufelsmoor. As you head out of this old artists' village, the Youth Hostel is located on the road towards Osterholz-Scharmbeck.

164 beds in rooms with between four and six beds, and 11 rooms for group leaders, some of them equipped with an en-suite shower/WC, 4 group rooms (up to 20 people), fireplace lounge, TV, video, overhead projector, screen, blackboard, disco, table tennis (indoors and out), billiards, barbecue area.
