  • Weiskirchen Hochwald Youth Hostel is an absolute must when it comes to leisure and hospitality in Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park. The wooded hills of the Schwarzwälder Hochwald make for a beautiful, varied holiday region. This is a place for hikers and sports lovers. Weiskirchen is situated right on the Saar-Hunsrück Trail.
  • Weiskirchen Youth Hostel has 124 beds in rooms with 1, 2, 4 and multiple beds, each of which is equipped with washing facilities; some have an en-suite shower/WC.
  • Single and twin rooms for group leaders are equipped with an en-suite shower/WC.
  • Bistro, café/bar, dining room, snack area, play area.
  • 6 common rooms and function rooms of varying sizes for 20 to 60 people; these may be combined to hold up to 110 people and are fully equipped for events, conferences, workshops, project days and music camps.
  • Leisure programmes for a thrilling family holiday.
  • Activity programmes for exciting school trips.
  • Table tennis, pinball, table football, billiards, board games, children's playground, area for ball games, barbecue area.
  • Training facilities for sports clubs in the "Hochwaldhalle" hall, at the Vitalis leisure centre and at the football ground.
  • A big family games afternoon is held from 3 o'clock on every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month.

Activities for guests of Weiskirchen Youth Hostel

Weiskirchen is located in one of Germany's most diverse holiday regions. Go hiking to your heart's content in the woodland of the Schwarzwälder Hochwald, try one of the many water sports on Losheim Lake, or take in the famous Saar river bend near Orscholz. Day trips to Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park, which is home to a wildlife park, or even to the nearby French towns of Metz and Verdun, are definitely worth considering.
