Good mood guaranteed

In the immediate vicinity you'll find "Ketteler Hof" adventure park, which is a real hit with children. Those of you who are more interested in nature at its best should take a trip to Frankenhof Wildlife Park. Younger visitors will love the petting zoo and fairy-tale forest. Fancy a bit more exercise? Then try out the nearby sports and leisure centre. In addition to heated indoor and outdoor pools you'll also find a half-pipe, beach volleyball and tennis courts as well as the "Carrera Rennbahnwelt" ("Carrera slot car racing world") just a few minutes away. Round off an action-packed day with an evening spent around the campfire.

Exciting programmes ...

Kids can live like the Indians did in our school activity programme of the same name. School classes can build drums, teepees and tools. Go on a guided walk through "Merfelder Bruch" and be amazed by the wild horses living there in natural surroundings. By bus you can reach the Lembeck and Raesfeld "water castles" as well as the one at Gemen. The bell foundry in Gescher and pottery in Stadtlohn provide valuable insights into traditional craft professions. Münster is also well worth a visit.
