Discover Lingen and the green Emsland!

Looking for delightful natural landscapes, or rather the fascinating, eventful past of an old town? Lingen has both these in store for you - and much, much more. Neat, gabled medieval townhouses and buildings with a fascinating past, such as the "Kivelingehaus", will bring times gone by back to life. In the surrounding area, in the Emstal, it's green as far as the eye can see. So this is the ideal place to get outside and discover nature and the environment! As an environmental study centre and Youth Hostel offering our specialist "Gut drauf" ("Good Mood")programmes, our Youth Hostel is perfectly equipped for nature explorers. And there's plenty for sports lovers too: Enjoy long bike routes, canoe tours or splashing around in the water park.
