Aachen Youth Hostel offers affordable and modern accommodation for tourists. Our hostel is family-friendly, too: the hostel's family day room with play area offers a comfortable atmosphere and plenty of space:

Whether you're a school class, a sports club or just a group of friends, the hostel is particularly well suited to group holidays. Depending on your wishes, there are enough rooms with 2, 4 or more beds available. In the lounge with outside seating, guests can make friends with people from all over Europe.

Travel without any reduced mobility: Aachen Youth Hostel is also able to welcome people with disabilities. The hostel has 8 barrier-free rooms on the ground floor, each equipped with wheelchair-accessible sanitary facilities. 9 of the 10 conference rooms are wheelchair-accessible and have suitable daytime toilets.

• Lift: lift in the separate seminar building. Door width 90 cm, depth: 140 cm, width: 110 cm, height of the controls: 95 cm outside, 120 cm inside
• Access/entrance to the hostel: entrance via a ramp. Door width: 90 cm
• Parking: 100 m away, public car park. The way to the entrance is not barrier-free and steep.
• Public transportation: the bus stop is 250 meters away. The way to the hostel is very steep.
• Medical care: hospital: 5 km
• Doctor: 3 km
• Additional offers for wheelchair users: programmes for school trips and leisure groups.

For more information You have access to all necessary areas of the hostel. The hallway with appropriately equipped rooms is on the ground floor of the Europa (A) building. The entrance is at ground level. The dining room is on the ground floor of the Colynshof (B) building. The entrance is easily accessible via a slight ramp. All conference rooms are either on the ground floor (Colynshof building) or can be reached using the lift (in the Forum building). The only exception is the conference room called Rome. The other rooms are on corridors that are only accessible by stairs. The angles of the mirrors are adjustable The showers are at ground level and there is a seat on the wall. The toilets are equipped with the appropriate aids. All rooms have with 4-5 beds. The upper bunk of bunk beds can be folded up. This results in a 2-3 bed occupancy. Additional toilets are located on the ground floor of all three buildings.
