Your key to 4.000 youth hostels worlwide

Each guest should have a hostel membership card and be prepared to show it upon check-in in a hostel. In order to stay in one of our hostels, foreign guests should have a membership card from their home country. 

If you do not possess a membership card, however, you can also obtain an international guest card („Hostelling International Card“) through our hostels. By paying a small additional fee with each stay, you can get a „Welcome Stamp“ on a temporary card. When you obtain six such stamps, your temporary card will then be converted into a full „Hostelling International Card,“ which is then valid for 12 months and is recognized in all associated hostels worldwide.
