Wuppertal Family Youth Hostel

the steel millipede and other wild animals

The "Millipede" is the name lovingly given by the residents of Wuppertal to the more than 100 year old suspension railway. Getting off at the "Zoo" stop is a must for families. In addition to modern elephants and predator enclosures, visitors can admire the underwater world of penguins from a tunnel. The green town on the Wupper river also has a lot to offer families that like walking and cycling.
