Föhr - a green island in the Wadden Sea

Every day, a natural spectacle takes place on the island. Where once the sea was, there is suddenly land and the glittering surface of the Wadden Sea is revealed, along with its diversity of species. The unique natural space that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site is best explored on a guided walk across the mudflats from island to island. Boat trips to the islets, the neighbouring island of Amrum, to marine animals or to the seal banks are also recommended. Those who prefer to spend the day quietly can sit in a roofed wicker beach chair and enjoy the 15 km long sandy beach, play a round of golf, or explore the island by bicycle.
