Wolfsburg presents itself to its visitors as a modern, pulsating metropolis with clear architecture and plenty of greenery to experience and relax in. The Autostadt and the phæno are known far beyond the city limits.

While the Autostadt invites you to discover the history and world of the automobile, the phaeno is all about fascinating phenomena, experiments and hands-on science. In the large planetarium you can learn exciting facts about astronomy and space travel, BadeLand impresses with 3,000 square metres of water and 2,400 square metres of sauna facilities, and the Strike bowling centre offers 20 bowling alleys. 

In keeping with the city, our youth hostel is also equipped with modern facilities and offers ideal accommodation for individual travellers and families, school classes and youth groups, as well as excellent conditions for conferences and seminars. It is located in the heart of the city, just a few minutes from the pedestrian zone, the Autostadt and other highlights. Billiards, table football and table tennis are just as much part of the inventory as the beach volleyball court is part of the outdoor area. 

The monkeyman high ropes course in the Allerpark offers three low ropes and five high ropes courses. While balancing, skateboarding and crawling at airy heights, you can take the Tarzan leap, crawl through a wobbly barrel and conquer the jungle bridge. Alternatively, you can hire Segways or StandUp Paddles. The wake park is perhaps the most beautiful water ski facility in Germany. The ice arena invites you to skate or watch ice hockey games. And even when VfL Wolfsburg is not playing in the Volkswagen Arena, it is worth taking a look behind the scenes of the impressive stadium.
