IDEAL FOR FAMILIES As a youth hostel with a focus on families, the Amrum Youth Hostel in Wittdün offers excellent facilities for families with small children. Parents can let their kids play on the beautiful sandy beach.
YOUR HOSTS are the hostel parents and Amrum locals Ineke and Ulf Jürgensen, along with their dedicated team.
MUDFLAT WORKSHOP Hostel father Ulf is a mudflat guide, and both hostel parents are excited that the hostel has a modern mudflat workshop for groups, where students can learn everything about the fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Wadden Sea up close.
YOUR ISLAND PROGRAM Beach and swimming, mudflat hikes, dune hikes, boat trips to the seal banks, to Hallig Hooge, to Sylt and to the island of Föhr, BBQ evenings on the sea terrace, mudflat workshop for groups.
PROGRAMS FOR TEENS During the summer and fall vacations, you can participate in a 1 or 2-week English language camp with native speakers.
YOUR YOUTH HOSTEL is located at the southern tip of the island, right by the sea and only 300 m from the ferry terminal. Plan for about 2 hours for the ferry ride.
