Weinheim is on the (No Suggestions) ("Mountain Road") on the outskirts of the metropolitan region of Mannheim, Ludwigshafen and Heidelberg. The town is located at the heart of an extensive wine and fruit-growing region. The range of services the hostel can offer is complemented by a well-marked network of paths in the western part of Odenwald forest, which extends as far as the town. The picturesque old part of town with its historical market square and town hall from the 16th century and the Renaissance palace with park and adjacent exotic woods are worth seeing. Wachenburg Castle and the ruins of Windeck Castle rise above the town. The youth hostel is situated in Weinheim's leisure centre, close to the town centre.

Arrriving by public transport
The hostel is just 2 km from Weinheim station.

You can take the bus no. 633 from the station to the bus stop "Rolf-Engelbrecht-Haus", which is located next to the Youth Hostel.

Another possibility is the number 5 tram line, that stops near the station at the Luisenstraße stop (towards Mannheim). From the Stahlbad stop, you can walk through Kirschstraße to Breslauerstraße (approx. 5 minutes on foot). You can see the hostel from there.
