Welcome to Verden! On the outskirts of this "riding town", which dates back more than a millennium, you'll find Germany's first certified Sports|Youth Hostel - just next to a leisure and sports centre. We offer customised sports programmes, personally supervised by us. Horse lovers can step back in time and learn about the history of breeding horses, or why not get up close and personal with world-famous Hanoverian horses. With us, there's more than one way to get up on high: at the "Kletterpark Verden" climbing park, which is located right on our Youth Hostel's own grounds. At the Hostel, conference and seminar guests can expect well-equipped function rooms.

So many sports!

Exercise first, relaxation second: Verden Youth Hostel is particularly well suited to the needs of sports groups. For school trips, music groups and families we also have ideal rooms for rehearsals and relaxation - and Verden's climbing park just next door. In the vicinity of the Youth Hostel, too, you'll find there's so much to discover: Cruise along the Aller, tour the surrounding region on the "Kleinbahn-Express", follow the 500 horseshoes through the old town - or throw yourself in and splash around at Verwell aqua park.
