Location & Arrival
The youth hostel and guesthouse are located in the triangle between the towns of Essen, Düsseldorf and Wuppertal, in the middle of the countryside and offer a variety of activities for families and groups.

Arriving by public transport
From the north, east or west:
travel to Essen Hauptbahnhof (main station). Take tram No.101 or 107, get out at Essen Bredeney, change to bus No.169 to Velbert, get out at the Am Buschberg stop, walk back to the traffic lights, turn left around the corner.
From the south:
Travel to Dusseldorf main station, take the S6 train (towards Essen) and get off at Essen-Werden train station, take the 169 bus in the direction of Velbert, get out at the Am Buschberg stop; for the rest of the journey, see above. Travel to Wuppertal Hbf, change to bus No. 649, go to Velbert Schloßstraße, change to bus No. 169 (towards Essen) and get out at Am Buschberg stop, through the traffic lights and go straight ahead. Or weekdays, take the SB bus to Velbert Schloßstraße and then continue.

Coming from the west or south:
take the A3 as far as the Hilden interchange
take the A46 towards Wuppertal as far as the Sonnborner interchange
turn left onto the B224 towards Essen-Velbert Velbert as far as Velbert Nord, turn left at the traffic lights, go straight ahead and then turn into the second street on the right - Am Buschberg.
Coming from the northern Rhineland/the Netherlands:
take the A3 motorway to Breitscheid
take the A52 towards Essen until the Minidom 1 exit, take the B227 towards Heiligenhaus-Velbert, beyond Heiligenhaus take the A44 towards Essen-Velbert until Velbert Nord. Then keep right at the traffic light, turn right into the 2 street on the right - Am Buschberg.
From the North or East:
Take the A1 motorway until the Wuppertal-Nord exit, take the A46 towards Dusseldorf as far as Wuppertal, continue as with 3.
take the A3 as far as the Hilden interchange
