Traben-Trarbach is surrounded by beautiful countryside which is characterised by the tightly meandering Moselle. The many half-timbered buildings, Art Nouveau houses and winding streets make Traben-Trabach a romantic little place with a really special atmosphere. The ruins of Grevenburg Castle and the former fortress of Mont Royal are worth a visit, but visitors should also take advantage of the many walking and cycle routes.
