Schillig is located on the north-eastern tip of the Wangerland - at the point where the North Sea heads off inland towards the Jade Bight. Our Youth Hostel is situated behind the dyke, just a ten-minute walk from the centre of town. The sandy beach, which is unusually long for our region, is just five minutes away - and is just perfect for little castle lords and ladies. Beyond that, something truly special awaits: the Lower Saxon Wadden Sea. There is absolutely loads to discover. Prepare to be amazed!

Schillighörn is situated on the north-eastern tip of the Wangerland, at the point where the North Sea coast heads off south towards the Jade Bight. The Youth Hotel is located directly behind the dyke on the northern outskirts of Schillig. The sandy beach is just 5 minutes away, and the town centre some 950 m.

The Youth Hostel has 124 beds in rooms with between two and eight beds each. Guests can also make use of 6 group rooms. The Youth Hostel grounds include a playing field where you can have a kick around, including a goal wall and streetball basket.

Here on the North Sea coast, there are plenty of activities for you to enjoy involving water, the beach and sea life. And you'll be surprised by all the other things Frisia has to offer - from soaking up art and culture in the little town of Jever, to whizzing along dream routes for rollerbladers and drinking cups of delicious East Frisian tea with "Kluntjes" (rock sugar) in romantic little cafés.
