Did you know that Radevormwald is one of the oldest cities in the Bergische Land? But not just that: the city is also one of the highest situated in the administrative district Cologne and is therefore also called „the city on the height“. The historical city core with its typical Bergische half-timber houses invites for cosy walks. You can gaze at the landmark of the city -a skyline of 4 church steeples- optimally from outside, for example at a hike. Numerous short and longer circular paths and strolls are leading you for example through the valley of the Wupper or along momentous industrial-historical factories of the textiles industry. Unique landscapes and views are guaranteed here! Whoever likes it more to be on the road on two wheels enjoys several circular paths of more different lenght. School classes are starting into the wilderness with compass, maps and climbing ropes and will find many an adventure.
