Pottenstein makes the hearts of climbing fans beat faster. The picturesque half-timbered town is located in the heart of Franconian Switzerland, one of the largest climbing areas in Europe. Here, 12,000 climbing routes on 800 individual rocks provide pure adrenaline, tense nerves, muscles and ropes. The climbing fun starts at our youth hostel. Our own climbing hall with bouldering wall and low ropes elements on the premises make sure of that. Here it's all about overcoming your own limits. All we need from you is an appropriate qualification certificate. We provide the kick.

Who are you experiencing all this with? With us, of course. A cozy youth hostel with a large outdoor area awaits you. The coziness starts in our entrance hall with its own fireplace. Table tennis tables, a football pitch and a beach volleyball court await sports enthusiasts of all ages. But we also provide plenty of relaxation with our own fairytale cave and campfire areas. For the scary factor, there is a small wooded area with a night trail.
