Public transport to the Youth Hostel
Take the train to Munich main station (München Hbf), then catch the S-Bahn line S6 in the direction of Tutzing to Possenhofen Bahnhof station, about a 40-minute ride. From the station, follow the signposts to the Hostel ("Jugendherberge") downhill in the direction of the lake. About 10 minutes walk.

By coach or car
From Munich, take the A95 in the direction of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Exit Starnberg. Continue along the main road. In Starnberg, follow the signposts to "Possenhofen, Feldafing". At the next stop sign, turn right and keep on this road. After passing the park and bathing area, you will enter Possenhofen. A small road to your left, just before the city limit signpost, will take you straight to the Youth Hostel.
