Location & Arrival
Osnabrück is located in the heart of the Northern Teutoburg Forest Nature Park; spread across some 122,000 hectares, it's one of Germany's biggest nature parks. The home of Justus Möser and Erich Maria Remarque, this is a historic city with time-honoured buildings. The Youth Hostel is situated on the Schölerberg on the southern outskirts of the city, not far from the zoo, and very close to the centre of environmental education and the planetarium. We are just 2 km from the city centre.

Public transport to the Youth Hostel
- By rail: Travel to Osnabrück Hauptbahnhof (main station)
- By bus: From Osnabrück Hauptbahnhof (main station), take bus 62, 468 or 469 until the stop 'Kinderhospital'; from there, walk for approx. 200 m to find the Youth Hostel.
Arriving by bus/car
- Take the A 30 until the exit 'Osnabrück - Nahne/Zoo', then continue towards the city centre; the Youth Hostel is located next to the children's hospital, some 500 m after the motorway exit
