The youth hostel is in a quiet location in a park on the edge of the pedestrian zone. Swimming pool with 50m lane, shopping centre, cinema, mini-golf course and theatre of the night are all within a 5-minute walk. Northeim itself offers numerous leisure and sports activities, but is also an ideal starting point for excursions to the Harz mountains or the Solling. If you want to meet lots of nice people, you've come to the right place. Our youth hostel is ideal for school trips, conferences, leisure activities, training courses, sports and swimming training camps, family stays, celebrations of all kinds or simply for an overnight stay while passing through.

Northeim swimming pool is just 5 minutes' walk from the youth hostel. The Gustav Wegner stadium with its Kunstrasen pitch is also nearby, as is a high ropes course and archery club.

Thanks to our convenient location on the A7 motorway, we are just as easy to reach by car as by train. We are also happy to welcome cyclists and walkers. With our all-inclusive programmes, you can either go on a hunt for clues or grow closer together through experiential education from the nevo team.  Or perhaps a theatre programme is just the thing for you.
