But the Church of St Mary and the Heilgen-Geist-Hospital (Holy Spirit Hospital) are also really worth seeing. Armed with a few tips from those in the know, you can easily discover Lübeck's hidden corners and courtyards. Lübeck is also noted for its trendy bars and a vast array of shopping possibilities. The modern hostel is situated in the north of the city, near the Burgtor, a towered gate. You can walk to the historical city centre in about 10 minutes.

In addition to our cultural options, we can offer families and school groups exciting adventure programmes. There are sporting activities on the Trave river and a sandy beach to enjoy during a visit to Travemünde and, during a boat trip, the old sailors tell earthy tales.
