A fresh coat of paint, new beds: Lenggries Youth Hostel has been renovated!

Light-flooded, homely, simply chic - that's how the freshly renovated Youth Hostel at Lenggries presents itself. Wooden furniture and warm light make sure the atmosphere is cosy. Guests can lounge around on fur skins and cushions in the lounge or catch a breath of mountain air at breakfast in th dining room, and jot down the route of their dreams on the slate boards in the stairway. A hiking or mountain bike tour of the mountains, to one of the many mountain pastures of the Brauneck region, clearly suggests itself. High up in the mountains, you can listen to the sound of cowbells in summer and winter sports fans' cries of delight in winter.

Only 60 kilometres south of Munich, the Isarwinkel region's dense network of hiking paths and cycling routes attracts many visitors to the area. In the Tölzer Land, active holidaymakers can take their hiking boots to the streets and their bikes for a spin. Exciting trails and well-maintained cycling routes make every athlete's heart beat faster. Roll along th Isar, dash across the water in a raft, or defeat the wild waters in a kayak.

In winter, the first snowflakes turn the landscape into a snowy white dream. Downhill skiers and snowboarders will be pleased: the winter sport season can take off in December. The Brauneck ski resort is the first address for skiing in Lenggries. Two ski schools offer courses and lessons for everyone from rookie to experienced skier. Individualists can master the countless pistes on their own. Snow shoe tours go at a quieter pace , but are just as much fun. So lace up your winter boots, we'll take care of the snow shoes! Lenggries Youth Hostel has already put them out for your and your group.
