Members only
To stay in a German Hostel, you need to be a member of the German Youth Hostel Association or a foreign Youth Hostel Association. You can become a member or buy an International (Group) Guest Card in every hostel.

Members aged 27 and over pay a surcharge of € 5.00 per night.
Families
Children aged 2 and under go free
Children 3 - 13 yrs: 50% off until their 14th birthday
Groups
Groups and group leaders pay the junior rate.
Disabled guests
Guests who hold a disabled person's card pay the junior rate.
Single occupancy
Surcharge of € 10.00 per person per night
