The listed building is one of the oldest in the town of Leer, offering its guests a great level of comfort: Each of the 41 rooms has its own sanitation facilities. 12 rooms are twin rooms with their own TV. A second dining room - with terrace - has been built, as have 6 modern, well-equipped conference and group rooms.
Leer Youth Hostel is the ideal accommodation for all sorts of target groups, from persons travelling alone to larger parties. Certified in 2010 as a Family|Youth Hostel, it is especially suited to families thanks to the family-friendly facilities and activity programmes aimed specifically at this target group.

The Youth Hostel is one of the oldest buildings in the picturesque little town of Leer, the "Gateway to East Frisia". The Hostel's great setting - located as it is near the harbour, not far from the historic old town - will make for an interesting stay. The charming scenes that await you as you wander the streets of Leer's old town, with its old townhouses and commercial buildings, former warehouses, the town hall, weigh house and local court, will leave you wanting to come back for more.

139 beds in rooms with between two and five beds, all rooms with en-suite shower/WC. 6 group rooms. The Youth Hostel is not suitable for wheelchair users. All twin rooms are equipped with a TV.
