Once over the Hohenzollernbrücke, passing thousands of individually decorated love locks and yet you`re at the Cologne Dom, the landmark of the city. From here you`re starting to your personal big-city adventure. Up for art, culture and history? Then visit the numerous museums and observe the historical sights of the city. Or rather shopping, Rhenish joy of living and relaxation? Than off to the popular Cologne shopping streets, to the rustic brewhouses and following to the Rhine-banks. Family excursions are leading often to the Zoo. Naturally one will meet school classes, if they were not just „learning“ in the chocolate-museum or undertaking a boat trip on the Rhine. But also the region has a lot to offer: the Bergische Land or the Eifel are inviting for hiking or cycling.
The City-Hostel Cologne-Deutz is located directly at the train station Deutz in proximity to the Cologne fair and the Lanxess Arena. Not just this unique site makes our house a famous accommodation for school classes, conference guests, visitors to a fair, sports- and music fans. The youth hostel convinces also by its modern facilities. All of the rooms are bright and friendly and are equipped with a separate bath. Also for people with mobility impairments, who are planning a trip to the Dom-city, the house is an ideal accommodation. 8 big rooms in the basement or at the first floor ( reachable by elevator) were built barrier-free and are equipped with a separate bathroom.
