Just like home: Hanover International Youth Hostel
At the heart of the city and the midst of a green haven: Hanover Youth Hostel is located in Hanover's sports park, only a few minutes from the train station or the city by tram. It is the ideal accommodation for individual guests and families, youth and student groups as well as school classes.

This is one of the most modern youth hostels in Germany and is perfectly suited as a training base for athletes, as well as being an excellent venue for having conferences and training courses.

Locations & directions

At the heart of the city and in the midst of a green haven: Hanover Youth Hostel is located in Hanover's sports park, only a few minutes from the train station and the city centre by tram. The park comprises the AWD arena as well as the AWD hall, the Federal Sports Centre, the Academy of Sports, the stadium swimming pool (Stadionbad), the multidisciplinary sports training centre and the nearby lake Maschsee.

All our rooms are equipped with washing facilities and two to four beds, accommodating up to 298 guests in total. 36 of the 43 double rooms are fitted with an en-suite shower and toilet, and 16 of the 46 four bed-rooms have showers. Further showers and toilets can be found on each floor.
We have 6 airy function rooms of various sizes available for holding courses and conferences during the day and the Backpacker's Inn at night for having a relaxed drink.
