Activities for guests of Gerolstein Youth Hostel

The scenery surrounding Gerolstein makes for a fascinating mix of dolomite rocks, cliffs, ravines, caves and volcanoes whose craters have not - geologically speaking - been extinct for very long at all! Gerolstein, also referred to as Brunnenstadt ("Spring Town"), is also home of the famous Gerolsteiner sparkling water. The local area is perfectly suited to varied cycle tours, walks and excursions for geology enthusiasts.
