If you like castles, you'll love Füssen. Up here in the realm of the fairy tale king Ludwig, the most famous one in the country shines: Neuschwanstein Castle, a magnet for visitors from home and abroad. Hohenschwangau Castle and Hohes Schloss in Füssen complete the fairy tale journey to the Ostallgäu region. In the midst of it all, at the western outskirts of Füssen, stands our youth hostel with its cozy 35 rooms.

With us, you can explore the "airy heights." The pre-Alpine region awaits bike and hiking enthusiasts with its beauty. For those who prefer more adventure, the climbing hall in Rieden and various canoe and canyoning tours are right up their alley.

In close proximity to our youth hostel, you'll find 9 bathing lakes, outdoor pools, and thermal baths. In summer, they invite you to splash around, swim, and relax:

Even in winter, the Alpine foothills are fantastic. Whether alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, or snowboarding – here you won't find overcrowded slopes but plenty of space to dream and enjoy. See for yourself.

If the weather doesn't invite you to bike, hike, or ski, you'll have plenty of fun in our house. How about a game of table tennis? Good vibes are simply part of the program here. Our conservatory also ensures this as a popular meeting point for our guests. With almost 80 seats right by the window, you have a fantastic view. Here, you can leisurely reflect on the day.

Our hostel is often on the rehearsal schedule for small and big musicians. We offer music groups special play opportunities: Not only the mountains make your rehearsals something truly special.
