Locations & directions

A fascinating landscape consisting of mud flats, fine sandy beaches and lots and lots of sea - prepare to be amazed! Relax as the tide ebbs and flows. Sit in a comfy beach chair and enjoy the fresh, crisp air that smells of the sea and adventure. Or get active until you're absolutely exhausted: surfing, kiting or over a beach volleyball match. Whatever you do, when you're with us on the North Sea you'll be part of something truly special: Since 2009, the Wadden Sea landscape has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This unique ecosystem is home to more than three thousand different species. Migratory birds use it as a resting place, and for whales, fish and seals it serves as a nursery.
In the picturesque little fishing town of Neuharlingersiel, a North Sea resort and ferry port for the island of Spiekeroog, there's no escaping the sea. With its great atmosphere, the harbour is a lively meeting place. Watch the crabbers as they go about their work, or why not enjoy a cup of nice tea in one of the charming little cafés, as the East Frisians like it: served with "Kluntjes" (rock sugar) and made with lots of love. Setting out from Neuharlingersiel, go and explore the silty mud flats and discover the secrets of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. Or investigate the Sielhof, a former manor house built in the 18th century. Surrounded by lovely park grounds, it has been lovingly restored down to the last detail.

Our aim is for you to feel completely at home throughout your stay. All our accommodation is modern and lovingly furnished - for instance with cosy wooden beds. Spacious apartments are on hand for families, with everything parents and their children need on their trip. Groups and conference guests can sleep "just next door" to one another.
Guests of the DJH resort can enjoy

Main guest house
The spacious apartments in our main guest house each have two double rooms with a shower room, connected by a little hallway. Almost all our apartments have a balcony and are equipped with seating, Hostel telephone and a TV. One of the apartments has six beds in total.
"Friesenhaus"
Our "Friesenhaus" has 14 double rooms (with shower room) on two floors. The rooms are right next to each other - perfect for families, but also for groups and conference guests. On the ground floor, there are two small kitchens for guests.
Bungalow
Our cosy, round bungalows for six people are 90 square metres in size and spread across two floors. Two double rooms are under the roof, and one on the ground floor. There you will also find the lounge and fireplace. The six bungalows are surrounded by a lovely lawn area with playground equipment. While the kids are playing, the adults can relax outside on the loungers.
Apartment
Located very centrally, our apartment building has four maisonette flats for between four and seven people. All of the apartments have two floors. Downstairs are the lounge and fireplace as well as a terrace, while the bedrooms are upstairs.

Everyone is in agreement: There's something for everyone here. Surf, speedminton, beach soccer, dancing, pilates, or how about trying out some new sounds in the "School of Rock"? And have you ever tried balancing on a slackline or hitting the black with a bow and arrow? Give it a go! Afterwards, why not try a bit of "deep relaxation" in our wellness area?
