This Youth Hostel opened its doors in June 2012
Formerly called Karl-Marx-Stadt, today the city is a modern, vibrant hub with a thriving arts and cultural scene. Chemnitz's central location makes it an ideal base for all sorts of trips, walks and excursions, both to the nearby Ore Mountains and to the rest of Saxony with its large cities, villages and diverse array of scenery.
